From garden to plate, students learn about where their food come from, how to care for plants, and how eating fresh, organic produce can lead to a healthy body and mind. They also learn about growing food for the community by donating the produce to a local food bank.
An annual literacy event that brings together families, teachers, and community organizations to share a love of reading. Story time, reading nooks, and even a teddy bear clinic make this a memorable event for the entire family.
A health and well-being initiative that brought free tennis equipment to local organizations and families in parks. A collaboration with a national sports organization, the local YMCA, and the city's Parks and Recreation department.
